For the second consecutive year, GA Smart Building has obtained the Happy index® label from choosemycompany, which highlights companies that provide the best accommodation, support, and management of their interns and trainees.
How to best choose your referral today to optimise your chances of professional success tomorrow?
This is, in essence, the question that students and trainees ask themselves, when, at the end of their studies, they venture out into a job market that they know to be difficult. A ranking should serve as a compass: created by the website that lets employees rate their company, choosemycompany, for the last seven years the Happy index® Trainees label has been creating a record of companies that provide the best accommodation, support, and management of their interns and trainees.
GA Smart Building, the company where you can get a good start in property
The good news is, for the second consecutive year, GA Smart Building is one of the 61 most popular companies in the category of companies hosting between 20 and 49 students. A wager that was in no way guaranteed in this year of health crises has been exceptional in all respects: “What seems to have reassured them in the context of this crisis is that we did our utmost to ensure that they were not left behind, especially during lockdown”, explains the Recruitment and Careers Manager, Colombe Jaubert-Celié. “On the contrary, we took care to keep them connected, so that they could continue to learn in their position and we organised exchanges, even remotely”.
A positive response index of 85.7%, up compared to 2019
Operation report: out of a sample of 27 interns and trainees, the Group recorded 78% of responses, including 85.7% positive responses. With these results, GA Smart Building has further improved upon its Happy index® Trainees score of the previous year, which came to 77.8% positive responses. These encouraging results reflect a desire to integrate and retain young talent in the construction and property sector. “Our end-of-study apprenticeship and trainee programmes provide concrete perspectives for career opportunities, either directly within the group or in the sector. In 2020, we entered into permanent and fixed-term contracts with five end-of-study interns and trainees”, explained Colombe Jaubert-Celié.
This is a great opportunity for these young people, who add their talent to that of the 800 GA Smart Building employees, an atypical group in the sector, which favours an integrated and off-site approach to property construction.
